Aya Ali is an English Literature graduate and a self-taught photographer. Her use of the medium of photography as a means of self-expression revolves around creating conceptual scenes, blurring the line between reality and fantasy. She embraces experimental techniques in practicing the medium, and her main inspiration comes from literature and cinema. She is based in Alexandria, Egypt. She has participated in two group exhibitions in Alexandria, Egypt: one in 2022 at The Museum of Fine Arts and the second in 2024 at The Bibliotheca Alexandrina. She has also participated in two online exhibitions with two European photography organizations: one in 2023 with Shutter Hub, based in the UK, and another in 2024 with Der Greif, based in Germany.
